It's finished!

But design never stops...

Wednesday 1 June 2011

My final day

It was so difficult carrying on working after the pin up. I took a day off despite a missing sheet on technical drawings.

Development Section updates

It's been a productive day... actually it could be more productive...

Gotta sleep now, as tomorrow I've got 2 solo pieces in the concert, and will have to help set up in the afternoon. So basically no much time on this tomorrow.

Hope everyone's work going well!

Planting Plan

Hmmm, this is an updated 1:200 planting plan.

Sections continue...

One flatmate bought ticket this morning for flying to China in the afternoon...
The other flatmate went to town to buy some cake for me as she also has finished her year yesterday...

And I just spent a whole afternoon creating another sheet of sections... terribly slow here...I mean the computer!

Sections from stage 1

I am catching up. Gotta work harder!

Sequential Sketches I

Finally I've got some sketches done... oh la vache!

Photo Montage

Not too bad.

And I'll lose an hour or 2 tonight for rehearsal for Friday concert. Eeeek. Let alone losing almost a whole day on Fri for concert!

Aza fighting! lol

Model

Hmmm, my experimental models, made from tablets and tampons. Not bad.

Contextual Plan 1:1000

I shouldn't have spent so long on this map. Esp. when the final product isn't the most satisfying.

 Shall move on now.

Updated Lighting Plan

Final crit did not go well. Much worse than I thought. I shall put more effort in.

Here is my updated lighting plan. Thanks for the tips from Grant.

still lighting plan

I am a bit behind the schedule --- my schedule, yes.

I am not happy with the draft lighting plan so now come up with another 2 versions in response to lacking of focus on the previous one.

so here comes...

1:200 lighting plan

I am catching up!!!

1:200 plan

And I just finished my 1:200 plan!!! Yay!!!! Crazy and happy!!!

I love those tooth monsters, do you?

Saturday 7 May 2011

Oh I'm mad.

Yes I am. I made some major changes on my 1:500 this week so inevitably results changes in my 1:200.

Spring look?

Then I decided the pink is a bit over the top, taken too much attention. So I make it summer, oh lala~~

It's not the final version yet... however I've got no time for this scale! I will have to come back to this one after my final crit!

Now move onto 1:200!

The Creation

After a few crazy thoughts about what to do upon graduation I finally made some moves. And I finally can call home as I've also done a few hundred words for my dissertation.

I've given up my bed and my floors solely for model making.

I am going to have a concert in Greenwich the day before our crit. I know it's highly unlikely that anyone from my Monday studio would go to see me. Still I'd love to invite you all to this wonderful event - Haydn's the Creation  By the University of Greenwich choir and orchestra. And finally I don't have to play the violin in the crowd! I sing!!! So please come if you ever fancy a break before our Monday revue...

Back from Lille

Our week in Lille covered by French Press, CLICK HERE

And finally I've got time to be ill. I was lying in bed for a whole weekend after I came back from Lille. Looking back, it was one of the most productive week I've ever had in my life.

I am still waiting for my colleagues to pass around our group work as I don't have any complete piece of work.

Since our concept is Echo, our design elements are more or less reflecting the surroundings. One of my jobs was to visualize our container designs

Adele loves cheese!

Here're a few images from the initial group before combining with another group:
