Recent Survey Work

I made this film with my colleagues as part of our site survey. I really enjoyed doing this time-lapse thingie. And I thought the first bit is sorta panorama of the site ??

And it was a shame that music wasn't loud enough on the presentation day.

Was put into understudy today. And sang a note wrong. I really hope to get the right part for The Creation next year. And for some reasons Vivaldi's Four Seasons made me sad in an undesirable way today.

And I really need to catch up the dissertation...

How cute!

Having a violin student is a good push - since I stopped having lessons at 12 years old - because nightmare started, well that's another story - I generally stopped practising.

Recently done a bit of practise for the survey presentation, but that's barely the reason I started playing the violin again.  I almost forgot about how amazing it is drowning into your very own world musically. I even enjoy playing the scales. Need to feed myself with some Bach, oh, I so need some Bach.

And also, after a week resting, I picked up Fauré again. Thinking about the coming concert in Dec, which is the day before I go to Roedean School for Christmas, I want to make people think their money well-spent.

I really hope I can get to see Hugh the Drover tomorrow. Cadogan Hall looks stunning in the picture, though small.

What sorta future career will I be creating?

And some nice photos - A designer did these while his/her baby's sleeping!

Find me!

I went everywhere with my lovely kaleidoscope. Sitting on the bus, watching the street I have walked for 16 years through it is a whole new experience.

Can you spot my face in one of the images?

Was helping a friend with her project - exploring the relationship between heaven and earth - I really doubt how far she could go as she believes that we derived from monkeys. Well, anyway, we carried around some large perspex around (I refused to carry her mirror as it's ridiculously heavy) in London to take pix of some churches - St. Paul Cathedral, Southwark Cathedral, Westminster Cathedral. I was also responsible to take pictures of the process - people looking at her weird and stuff...

outside of St. Paul Cathedral

She's done some stunning shots. Then she tried to build a huge kaleidoscope and she wanted to break my kaleidoscope in order to prove her theory right... Now she's busy designing a food vendor so that she could sell some candy floss and homemade toffee fruit. I'll be helping on site again, eating this time.

2nd Shoot

Yesterday weather was not bad but wasn’t sunny as weather forecast. Got some amazing shots with Valentino – happened to catch some nice shots of fireworks by Southbank – don’t know what it was for though.

Met Andy on site doing interviews for Genius loci. He’s got some exciting information – few storeys up in the County Hall and a few blocks around are all social housing for locals, very cheap price.

Group work really has made me learn how to appreciate other’s work even though sometimes I don’t agree with them. Now Monday and Friday are my favourite days! Doing some work does make me feel good.

Looking for a percussionist for the performance – doesn’t even have to be an amateur one – just thought it’d be nice to have some beats. I’ve started playing the violin again – some Irish music this time. Haha.

Here we go... London eye again!

1st day shooting

Absolutely Freezing out there. Didn't go for the protest as I don't think that'd have much to do with me. Anyway, I think this is unexpectedly cool.

I was doing breathing exercises while doing the shoot. Got another concert coming woohoo~ Can't believe things all come so fast!
